It is 3:10am and my daughter wakes me up telling me there is someone knocking on our front door and she is frightened. I get dressed and my wife and I head downstairs and peer through the blinds and see a neighbor walking around in the dark in her gown so I open the door to see.

It turns out her 17 daughter has not come home and she is in panic mode as the daughter normally us home by 12am if she hoes out with friends. She asks yo use my phone as the daughter has hers and she phones 911. We tell her to try her phone but it just rings.

The police have arrived and are taking down details for what might be a missing child report.

We will probably stay awake with the mother tonight.

Here are our issues now, we met them when they moved in and this teenager has major issues. She does not want to be in the USA for certain reasons and seems to be at odds with get mother must of the time. We once saw her going through their car and then walk away and leave the car door open and hours later I went to tell the mother her door was open, not mentioning the daughter was there earlier, and when she went yo close it her bag was in the car so what was the daughter doing in the car hours earlier?

I had a dream a week or two ago that I spoke to the cops when they were here on a call from this family and it seems my dream was a premonition.

It sounds like she has been found.

Purposeful or just unfortunate (and hilarious) Freudian slip?

Wayne, have you taken your medication?

Yeah, i also once had this urge to type on a cellphone at 3 in the morning and share a very dull story, turns out that the people i intended the message to go to also could not make out what i was trying to tell them.

This made me realize something, was it really that important to share little insignificant things with the whole interweb at 3 o clock in the morning and in turn make it so very difficult for them to read and understand what i was trying to communicate?

Would my life, or theirs, have turned out any different if i just decided to not share everything that happens to me and that has no bearing on other people whatsoever?

It's twice I have had to call 911 at work. The first time was due to people fighting in our carpark and recently was on sunday when a guy overdosed on heroin.

I was busy at work and happened to look down towards our carpark and I see a person pulling someone from a car onto the ground and start pumping their chest. I call for a fellow worker and assistant manager and they run down whilst I called 911. The police was already dispatched as I called from what I was told later, was that the person had overdosed and was blue in the face and the first police officer on the scene provided some sort of cpr and when the emt's pulled up he was revived and taken away, we never have dull moments at work.
