I exist only in my own mind ...
My client travels extensively and is set up for MTN roaming. Up to now he has used his 9300 to access his email on a local server.

He has now bought a laptop and wishes to use this rather than the 9300 for email access.

When he has access to a hot spot he will use this for access, but there are times where he is out of hot spot range, but does have cell connection.

In the latter case he wants to use the 9300 as modem from the laptop.

What does he need to do, if anything, in the phone or laptop, when he moves from Cape Town, to say Cairo? Will the phone and the Nokia PC Suite automatically sort out the IP settings, or will some manual intervention be required.

The user while not particularly technical, will be able to follow detailed explicit instructions, but I'd prefer to have everything set up before he leaves.

Your advice is much appreciated.

PS I notice that in the One Touch Access of Nokia PC Suite, under select network operator, that MTN South Africa isn't a choice. Voda, Virgin and Cellc all appear. Is this because the phone is currently connected via MTN?
