9800GT or 4850?

I have a 7900GT currently, should I get a 9800GT or maybe a 4850 for a R100 more?

And will my 450w PSU still be enough?

Well, it seems unanimous for the 4850 then I do hope ATi drivers are better than they were when I last had one. Does one still need that .net crap to be installed to use it?

Afaik you Don't need the .net thing to install the drivers anymore

4850. It depends on what 450W you have. What brand. Specifically, how many amps does it output on 12V.

You power supply rigouke be fine the 4850.

It's only the catalyst control centre that needs .net. You can download the stand alone drivers that don't need .net.

I don't know what ATI drivers were like in the past but they're fine now. My 4850 is great, I've never had a problem with it. So much more powerful than the 9800.

I upgraded from the 8800GT to the HD4850, it's noticeably more powerful.
