I dont know if anyone from iBurst actually reads the posts on this forum but on the off chance that they do here is a short message from a humble potential client...

Dear WBS:

I was seriously considering utilising your company to fulfill my immediate broadband requirements. So much so that I was on the verge of calling your sales department and purchasing a contract with you about two months ago.

However I have been lurking in this forum for a while and have heard nothing but bad things about your product and service. It is concerning to me that your clients are so unhappy with basic service delivery and the quality of your product support.

This feeling is compounded by the very, very strange changes you have made to you pricing model recently which leave me with the impression that your company is out for short term revenue gains and not long term sustainability.

Thus you will not be recieving a call from me. I will not be using your service and it will take a significant change in perception on this forum for me to rethink this decision.

I realise in the greater scheme of things this means nothing to you but a forward thinking company would consider the implications of losing potential clients. I recommend you get a competent person to handle the issues expressed on this forum as a means to control the situation.

In the meanwhile I will look to your competitors (as limited as they may be) for a solution to my requirements. I suggest all other potential broadband users do the same.

Kind Regards
The Omlette

Omlette, If you are thinking of buying a gaming console then you should really stay away from any wireless internet provider. The latency will reallly hinder your enjoyment...

Sorry to say it but you may need to shack up with the blue/green monster instead.

Yeah I know mate. My application form is being submitted to the Telkom Shop in Clearwater Mall this weekend. I figured ADSL was my only choice after considering my console needs and my interest in trying out WoW and GuildWars.

I dont particularly like Telkom but I am tired of waiting for Neotel. Its been a while and they sound a bit wussy in their "we dont want a price war" statements.

You should really send that to the CEO Thami Mtshali.

I live in Bryanston. We get intermittent ADSL - one day it is OK - the next day - usually Mondays - nothing. It usually takes 3 days to repair. I have now subscribed to I-Burst for 18 months as a standby but it results are poor even with an outside arial - usually slower than dial-up. We asked MTN to come to test 3G but the sales guy got no signal, only GPRS. Vodacom "do not send anyone to test signals". What do I do? I need reliable broadband to run my business....

I would still bet money on Vodacom - their 3G coverage is much better than MTN's.

See if you can't find a colleague or friend with Vodacom 3G to pay you a visit.

If one of you have a 3G-enabled cellphone, you can use that to test for 3G coverage as well.

Is this the new CEO that replaced Ed Hall?
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAH ED HALL CEO??? MWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHa

The_Omalette I think you should maybe first speak to neotel and see what they willing to offer :D
