I tend to agree with this statement: “A lot of consumer issues are related to their service providers, not their networks....". Earlier last year I wanted to port from my current SP (NashuaMobile) to MTNSP, however, due to my contract still having over 6 months to go I couldn't port.
I am looking forward to finally ditching Nashua & go to MTNSP sometime in April/May! The main reasons that makes me wanna port are:
1. Whenever u wanna call them u have to pay (No free Customer service line)
2. Whenever you wanna change some VAS, eg. Call limit, you have to call them, provide your ID, etc.
3. Canceling these services is indeed a pin in a but - you have to fax a letter stating the reason for cancellation plus your ID. Sis man!!
4. I've really had a s**ty service from these guys to put it mildly. They take forever to update these services. In the mean time you will be spending yo very free minutes to call them.
I'm not saying MTNSP is better, just that their online MTNActive is so user friendly and interactive - you can add/ cancell many VAS staff online without contacting them.
By VAS I mean Call balances (sms), Call limit, SMS bundles, etc.
Well that's just my opinion..
