A.D.H.D.

I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention.

What was the middle part?

Adult users of Ritalin must exercise caution that they do not abuse the Ritalin by using it in greater quantities than prescribed etc.

Adult posters must exercise caution that they dont abuse stupidity by using it in greater quantities than required etc.
Inane advice is inane.

My advice is made in the context that methylphenidate is a schedule II contolled substance in the USA. Criteria for admission to this class are

(A) The drug or other substance has a high potential for abuse.
(B) The drug or other substance has a currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States or a currently accepted medical use with severe restrictions.
(C) Abuse of the drug or other substances may lead to severe psychological or physical dependence.

Inane advice is still inane.

sorry Kage its more my opinion, I was "diagnosed" with ADD (which turned out to BS) and my little bro is ADHD so what I say about this topic is what I have picked from these events.
mainly its not a disorder, its a different way the brain functions, its a pity our world will not adapt to this, and personally I don't support chronic medication

Well, I would say you may just happen to be in a situation where you can handle the symptoms better.

While at high school, I finished within the top 5 candidates in my province, and thought I'd have a breeze qualifying as an actuary.
I studied actuarial science and found it impossible to study two - three weeks straight.

I couldn't grasp how others could do it but me not (I never studied more than 2-4 hours for anything at high school)

So in my third year I after failing to get International exemption from certain subjects for two years (but obtaining my degree), I was diagnosed with ADHD.
At first, a psychiatrist in Bloem put me on the wrong medication (Strattera), and I just felt okay for around two hours at a time.
I got my honors degeree, came to Stellenbosch to study further, but could never get exemption from subjects.

Last year (three years after being diagnosed, I went to a specialist in Cape Town), who put me on concerta.
I immediately started passing my international exams.

Concerta is the best thing that could have ever happened to me.

ADHD is a recognized disability, you can update your Employment Equity status with it.

You are very defensive. My advice is well intentioned. The single biggest risk of methylphenidate use is addiction and abuse and I am simply trying to alert people to be extra vigilant when using this medicine in view of this fact.

Jamal.
You read emotion and inflection where there is none.
Inane advice is still inane.
If you don't misunderstand the word "inane" I suggest you get a dictionary.

Oh yes.
There is also a study that links men that adopt a typically aggresive and masculine name such as "marine" to a lack in penis size.
Wow brilliant answer to a real question ;)
But yeah I never said I have a big penis now did I? It does knock the living daylights out of the sides :D

Why is it you are so defensive on this subject?
