Aah, I think you're on to something. I'll check that and report back.

As a side note, I did finally give up last night (or rather, early this morning) and buy photosmith. It's pretty nice, and the syncing works very very well!

You should have got photogene, esp if you're interested in IPTC.

IIRC you can still do the iptc without it but this is handy for creating iptc presets and batches.
