A good 10.1 tablet??

Hi there everyone.

As the title states.. i need your input on a good tablet for my mother. shes getting older and her eyesight aint the greatest.. so she now wants a tablet..
She currently owns a P8 lite 2nd gen

it has to be on an upgrade from MTN... and i dont want her to get anything junk like.. i want it to last and be able to have memory card for extra storage

1. No Apple
2. MTN contract tablet
3. Support SDD card

I actually can. IOS is by far the most elderly citizen friendly operating system.

If anything BECAUSE she is 60 is all the reason needed to get an iPad instead of Android kak.

Android tablets are pretty much regulated to Samsung, the rest would be pretty crap tbh. Also the contracts on tablets will be limited to iPad and Samsung, MTN has two Samsung and they are pretty horrible.
Android tablets are dying, they never really got off due to the OEMS not quite understanding it's not a giant phone but a separate device.

Yeah, this is sadly the case. The available selection is pretty crappy, depending on what you want to do.

Normally I don't agree with @SauRoNZA with his Apple evangelism, but in this case, he's right. iPad is definitely the least hassle.

The bog-standard 6th-gen iPad is actually fairly good value these days.
