I have this dsl package from Telkom thar gives me 5gb per month for international downloads and an extra 10gb for "local" downloads... the thing is I don't know "where" the local downloads site are?:o Can anybody please advise on good downloads sites that a "local"? Thanks in advance.

Use news servers you can download pretty much anything music, series, movies, games, apps etc..
Simply put => download alt.binz and install
=> Under setup, go to servers put the telkom address in [news.saix.net] and make connections 2. Click connect
at the bottom it should say connected.
=> Sign up on a NZB site such as www.nzbsrus.com , YEs this is international but the local ones are invite only for
eg. www.nzbsa.co.za or newshost, which i am on.
=> download the nzb file which you are looking for and drag it into alt.binz and off you go.

There is also a thread on these forums "what to do when you are capped?" Being on my BB it is a little difficult to link it ...

Keep in mind that you would first use your 5GB and then your 10GB local only.

So you only start using the 10GB after you have finished the 5GB. The 5GB is blendid, meaning it counts towards international and local...

simply put, there aren't any 'download sites' locally worth meantioning. there are however ways to download locally, you'll just need to adapt those bad habits the ISPs brainwashed you with. also keep in mind the point McGuywer made above, because it is valid
