So today the place Im working organised me a vodacom HSDPA enabled sim card which i plug into a Zadako Modem. All is cool and fine in that regards. They also gave me a VPN address, so i can access and connect remotely to computers.

Now i need to, if it is possible to route the traffic via the VPN at work then on to my computer at home, so that the megs doesnt come off the HSDPA, cause at the moment, im going to use it at out of bundle rates (according to the sms on the card) OR when you create a VPN this happens automatically?

Just curious, as im not proficient in this area.

Oh and i tested a bit of downloading and the max seems to be around 45KB/s and a singal strenght of -89dBm or so....is this normal?

Oops...seems i have posted in the wrong section...Sorry :)
