I mailed customercare as I don't have 30 minutes to wait for a phone call.
I received a reply which I assumed was a confrimation of receipt, but on inspection today I see it says :
Yebo Valued Vodacom Customer!
Thank you for your e-mail. This is an automated response to confirm receipt of your email.
Kindly re-submit your e-mail to [email protected] and supply us with the cell phone number related to this query in order for a consultant to assist you. Please do not reply to this e-mail.
Kind Regards
Vodacom Customer Care
Whlie I do understand contracts and being bound to them, I'm not receiving a service and haven't for a large portion of the contract. This is no fault of mine and I've paid month after month after momnth without fail. If Vodacom could provide the service agreed to initially - we'd have no issue.
I'm not even asking for the 14.4 they claim, or 7.2 or even 3.6. A decent 512kbps with even a trickle of an upload would suffice.
I will resubmit to customer care
Dont resubmit it. That is the auto reply with a ref that states your email has been received. It will now be allocated to a agent within the next 24 working hours at which point he/she will log it through to network and reply informing you of such and with the new ref number that links to the created fault.
I trust you provided your full physical address and contact number and number that is being used in the modem?
