A machine built for gaming....from Dell?

Its fine if u have a fancy new 8800 type card thats got it all already, but what about us who haven't upgraded there yet? If the Physics card does overall improvent, even for games that isn't specifically written for it, then perhaps having a cheapo 6 series card + Physics card could help?

lol at the price of the physics cards are insane R2000 to R3000 so you might aswell buy a 8800 gts :D

Very nice laptop. You could almost call it a mobile desktop. Seperate keyboard, "stand alone" screen... just completely unique in its own right.

Only problems i have with it is it only runs on intel (sorry to say but ive never been a fan of intel) and the graphics aren't very good considering you cant upgrade gfx on laptops. Also i dont see ne SLI compatibility so all in all no real potential for heavy gaming requirements.

A physics card is an expansion card for computers, similar to a graphics card but which is used to process physics interactions as opposed to graphics. By taking over the processing of these effects, the CPU can use more of its power for other tasks. A physics card is centred around a physics processing unit, similar to the graphics processing unit on a graphics card, and also contains RAM for use in its processes, so it takes the strain off the GPU and CPU which gives you better FPS and better quality :D
 
just saw this now ... very good machine ... now if I only convince the company to buy it for me .... It is a dell machine so it gotta be for business :)
