Have just seen that Axxess has launched there new website a few days ago.
A friend emailed me this morning to go and have a look.
I am very impressed. 100% improvement over the old site plus love all the new products and features.

Well done guys :)

I love their prices too :
Local-only 30Gb per month R 599.00

I think that's because it's on the SAIX backbone rather than IS.

Local only is still in my mind an abomination - hardly what you would call progressive thinking. Who else remembers a little over a year ago when local only was uncapped on both IS and SAIX?

There is only one flaw: Have your tried logging onto the Customer Control Panel? You need a Client code! And your ADSL username is not what they speaking about, cause if you try it fails to log in.

There is no mention anywhere on the site on how to find out your Client Code, so I guess every single customer must email there support line to find out. What a pain. Couldnt they have emailed every one there Client code before we all tried to log in.

That's just propaganda put out by Telkom's enemies to discredit them, its all lies! It never happened, capiche? :D :p

Yeah, talk about going backwards..:(

Why can't IS at least offer uncapped local if they were doing it before anyway?

All AXXESS ADSL accounts international bandwidth are supplied via Fiber optic links on the undersea SAT3 cable and not via Satellite like most other ISP's. This gives you a FASTER urfing experience without all the latency.

Where do they pull that figure from.... Not impressed :(

Just dodgy marketing, not too surprising unfortunately. Most is a pretty inexact term so they can probably get away with it.

Nice website. Very proffesional, but VERY expensive!

Yes, I agree. If you need cheap local bandwidth then try one of the IS resellers.
But I love the credit card upgrade in the control panel. So easy to do it and it's live straight away. Plus the vIP DNS is very easy to setup and works like a dream :)

Site looks nice, I must admit, as I said above there are some things I just wouldnt say... lastly, and most important prices need to be more in line. Give me a reason to move to you guys.
