A new boss for Telkom

I'm not interested following in Sizwe's footsteps at all!

He has rigged Telkom as a company with extreme profits for terrible service using the monopolistic environment.

Now he leaves that "on the surface" prosperous company at an exptreme high.

But, we know, that there are serious problems within Telkom, and very serious external factors lurking.

The next CEO will most probably see the "profit edge" which Sizwe created evaporate without being able to do a thing about it.

Sizwe will be remembered as "the lion" - because in 5 years time everybody will have forgotten the means by which he achieved the astounding profits. The next guy will be remembered as the "monkey" who destroyed profits.

Isn't Pinky Moholi the lady who didn't quite know what to say in the Carte Blanche insert??

If Pink "We Deny" Maholi is a candidate, it seems that the next CEO will be a complete muppet!

Ambekar said anybody who was mentally prepared for the complexity of the role could probably do the job.
Bwhaaha! Funniest thing I've ever read.

1) Candidate must support our overpriced packages - Check
2) Candidate shouldn't be able to give truthful answers - Check
3) Candidate must be a complete muppet - Check
4) Candidate must bend over for our investors - Check

A quick survey of industry players that might be available brings current Icasa chairman Mandla Langa to mind. ... But, the suggestion that Langa might be the next Telkom CEO has been greeted with little support.
I wonder why ... Could it be that he would have South Africa's best interest at hand?

There is no doubt ,the new CEO of Telkom has a Titanic task ahead

He or she is to face many new and immediate challenges.

We are hoping to see the creation of a new business model which will result a win-win situation for the consumers and Telkom's share holders

In doing so ,the collision course can be altered.

I've had the displeasure of meeting Pinky Moloi long ago at a big Telkom do

I see her in the same light as Poison Ivy
