on one of my other forums, there is a guy that filters pictures and from what i can see or understand it looks like he checks these clouds for different heat sources. the pictures he then submits are then colourful.

my question is thus, would the composition of a cloud give you different heat signatures?

Infrared pictures?

Different temperature = different colour

Infrared pictures?

Different temperature = different colour

i dont know anything about clouds or infrared but if a cloud is made up of water would the heat of the sun not give it different colours according to the heat it gives off.

ok the reason i asked is on one of my other forums which is a ufo/alien forum there is a guy that filters the pictures of ufo's and also clouds, it seems the pictures he gets are of strange cloud formations and because they are filtered through the light or maybe heat spectrum people might be under the impression that they are not actually clouds but disguised ufo's. now i do have a big interest in the topic but dont see a ufo/alien behind every cloud or corner. so i just wondered if the heating of the water droplets or maybe ice crystals or whatever make up a cloud may be the cause of the strange colour effect that show up in the filtering process.

granted that the guy who is doing this sort of thing may have taken those variables into consideration when he does this kind of process.
