Hello I am a amateur in Linux and just wanted to know something; lets say I want to rent a Dedicated server could I do this:
1Server but 2:IP's for that server
IP1-->LAMP server and its OWN OS lets say Debian
and then for
IP2-->Another OS lets say CEntOS running seedox stuff(rtorrent+rutorrent+multiple users)

I want to keep the LAMP and Seedox on 2 IP's and both on theirs own OS could this work if so how( Dont want a detailed tutorial just a fast explanation)?

ye Virtualisation is the way to go set up your fav linux distro on the Server and install vmware server 2.0 on it then you can add as many vm's (virtual machine) as you want to the server.
I have one running on a server that costed me under R10k 2600k i7 16gig ram 14 TB HDD and i currently have 12 diffrent virtual machines all running like they on there own server.
but i have herd of people using a hp micro server and having multiple vm's there and no problems.
