Where will the fan be on your chassis and how many fans do you have?

It needs to have airflow. Watch a couple of videos that talks about positive vs negative air pressure. To avoid getting a lot of dust in your case, have more fans blowing air in than sucking it out, and have air vents on all the fans blowing in, this way you will have positive air pressure and avoid a a lot of dust.

What chassis did you get by the way?

It depends where on the Chassis.

General rule of thumb is front/in rear/out.

Everything close to the CPU should be "Out" and everything far from the CPU should be "In".

It's an old Coolermaster tower case. Just has 1 fan at the back. Also has a helluva lot of dust in it!
