Hi everyone

I would like to run a suggestion by you guys.
With all the complaints about the iBurst accounts department, I decided enough is enough.
So I browsed over to http://www.carteblanche.co.za/ and submitted a story about how the accounts department “steals” money ect ect...

Will everyone that’s willing and maybe have firsthand accounts of these things happening please do the same.
I’m sure if enough of us do this they will do a story about it and maybe that will get iBurst sorted or at least make consumers aware of what’s going on.

You can submit your story here: http://www.carteblanche.co.za/SubmitStory/StorySubmission.asp

You'll need hard evidence and people who won't be shy to share their story, but all around it's a good idea ;)

Thanks for the input tera:). I’m sure we will find a “few” people willing to share their story.

If they don’t want to do the story there is nothing we can do about it, but we will never know till we try.

Yeah, its a good idea but I think iBurst are going to counter that argument with people who don't check to make sure debits go through.

Is that the whole point of a debt order? So you don't have to worry about the money going through and the company handles it?

I have already about 3 weeks ago also submitted to carte blanche and said if they ever do a story on broadband (or rather lack there-of) in SA, I'll be happy to supply them with graphic evidence by especially from iburst.

Yes but its still YOUR responsibility that it happens. You cant tell me that you don't notice money not being debited from your account?

Stop me if i am wrong. Is the POINT of a debit order not that on day X of EVERY month amount Y goes off account Z.

Not that SOME time around day X of SOME of the months SOME value, USUALLY Y, goes off account Z. (As far as I know ibust does not fuk up variable Z but I could be wrong)

I signed a debit order for X on day Y on account Z. ALL the other ppl taking their pounds of flesh every month gets it right.

FFS I can call Outsurance now and tell them I moved and have a new car and want more valueables covered and the dude on the other side will tell me exactly what my new premium is, when it will go off and how much of that will be pro rata because I phoned in the middle of the month!

BUT NOT IBUST

I watch my bank account like a hawk :p

But you are right, if the money is too much, or not being taken off, you should actually say something about it ASAP

With internet banking these days, there is almost no need for debt orders, keep track of your accounts and electronic transfers work better [as it is controlled by you]
