Tomorrow this roof will be decorated with some solar panels.

Slightly excited is an understatement

Well Done. Mono or poly solar panels? Which inverter did you go with?

I am still getting used to solar. As a South African it is weird to have reliable utility provider.

Every night before I go to bed. I pour myself some whisky and pull a chair closer to my inverter and just sit and admire how productive it was for the day.

On my Garage Roof ( concrete slab) straight north, no tree's no obstructions
Sunsynk 5kv Inverter
3 x Hubble AM5 batteries

i need to dig into this home assistant stuff, or solar-assist, the standard sunsynk stuff is meh, i use solar-assist at work to basically keep a eye on our server rack's inverter/ ups , and its awesome, just a pity it doesnt run in docker and need a pi for it

Beautiful. Here outside Ceres we have very little cloud cover all year round in general. I maintain that people closer to the coast should over spec their solar array by at least 75% to compensate for the annual sunshine.

Lekker man.
Well done, job completed. At least Esdom or council will not bother you anymore.
Welcome to the club.

My flat install is one year old.
