On thursday afternoon i am waiting at the bus stop in Elsiesrivier and the planes are flying overhead and then i see and all white Boeing fly out of CT International. There were no markings on the side of the plane.

Do any of you know what Boeing it is or have seen it before?

It could be a new plane being delivered and/or waiting for its livery.

Yes, the presidential plane is not marked. New liveries are put on in the factory, and planes are delivered complete with coloured tail and South African on the body.

JZ has been all over the place this week, so it could have been him...I take it, that it wasn't a 747...that would be a different story.

The question beckons WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TAKING PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN THAT HELL HOLE aka Elsieriver

New planes never have makings mate. It must have stopped over to refuel on it's way to JHB all the branding gets done there

As far as I know ALL planes have to have a rego. number. Maybe you didn’t see it?

it actually flew right over where i was standing and there was nothing on the left hand side of the plane so unless the right hand side had some freshly painted logo's on it that i never saw i didn't see anything.

In the late 80's there use to be a cargo plane without any markings (not even serial) that would fly 247 between Kimberly and Angola. It was used by then government to fly through support materials to Angola rebels.

Only speculation to what was on board.

Use to see it when I would visit some relatives in Kimberly.

when i saw it i was reminded of the pictures of 911 when in some pictures they showed a white boeing in the sky.

Seems a bit silly. If I wanted to do clandestine flights, I would fake a registration and not attract attention by having nothing. Would you have even noticed the plane if it had a normal-looking rego?

there are spare "unbranded" Boeing's used at Tambo. All -white with no markings cause of my reason below....

I was on a kulula flight once and we went in one. I think its leased when there are schedule or maintenance problems on the normal jets. hence no branding so any airline can use it.

Makes one wonder if there would be money in outsourced jets. or at least ones for maintenance replacements or delays etc.

Agree ... I found out that all markings where removed for political reasons should the aircraft be shot down. Not so sure of how much of an urban legend the stories are but they had all serial numbers removed.

Its the same with the old army ration packs - we could all see it was Chappies or Lion matches but nothing had branding so as not be point back a trail.
