AA 3 request...

Completely new thread for this topic... anyone here who manages to GET AA3 when it is released, and if you're in Cape Town, can I please get a copy of it?

I'm on Neotel so you can imagine the impossible mission of getting it WITHIN my lifetime.

I dont have any blank dvds at the moment, might go to the shop tomorrow.
 
I'm 'pre-loading' it via Steam.

Been going for about 2 hours, it's at 1% complete at 17KB/s.

I think I should pack a lunch for this trip! :mad:
 
I download the prerelease - 3.5GB - started the installation last night, now it wants another 1.5GB update. :(

Luckily I'm doing it from work and then taking the files home. Should have the other file today - will give you a shout.
 
I'm at 28% this morning :( but had to stop it so GF could download e-mails and work and such.

Hopefully once the Neotel technicians leave my place, 20KB/s will improve to like 100 or so.
 
Preload completed, now 33% into the Update but will run into cap before I finish.
 
Mine is not moving at all via steam and local only account, and my download location is set to Africa

I've for the 2 main files - 3.5GB and 1.5GB. You install the deploy client, copy in the files, run the deploy client and it will install AA3.

If someone can give me access to a local site I'll be more than happy to up it.
 
I wouldnt rush in getting it. At the moment its pretty useless :( Nothing is working. You can't use your pre booked account, you can't reset your password if you forgot it, you can't even logon to the servers. Apparently there auth servers are swamped. :mad:

They're going to release a hotfix to address this shortly.....watch this space :)

My download finished about an hour ago. The game is buggy as hell right now. Database errors, freezes etc
