AA insurance and Auto & General

Does anyone know if theses companies are the same now?

I'm trying to get a hold of AA from outside of the country but it's proving impossible. No email address and the phone numbers are all 0860 which only work in SA. Added to that you can't log in to their website, the contact form is fecked and there is no validation codes anywhere anyway. Oh, and the website support people won't respond to the only email address on the whole site.

So looking for an office number, I notice they share an address with Auto & General so I thought I'd drop them a mail as their website has good contact info.

Anyone know what's the deal or indeed have a contact email address for the AA in Dainfern???
 
Not sure if companies are same. On my AA card, there is +27 11 799 1500 listed as non-emergency services number. I tried and it works so might be worth a try?

Agreed..

and a pain in the arse when I cancelled.. they kept debiting my account for months afterwards even when I phoned and complained at them.

I'm with them and laid a claim two weeks ago. Was surprised how easy it was. I just submitted the claim online. Got a call from A&G the next day for the rest of the details. Took my car for assessment a few days afterwards. They paid out two days later. Everyone was very friendly. Even had a guy calling me to check that everything went fine etc.

There were hassles or issues regarding the claim. It was a small bumper bashing where someone reversed into me so the bumper is going to be replaced. I didn't even have the guys details because he drove off.
