I recently had the idea of packaging a Projector, a Android Mini PC, bluetooth keyboard and a 3G modem for schools to view Khan Academy lessons.
Tables have a much higher likelihood of being stolen, broken, hacked to surf P0rn. This way you can lock the system down to only access that content. and its bolted to the ceiling in a classroom. and its still cheap.

at the current rupee rand exchange rate, works out to about R763 - once shipping is factored in you might as well just get the sansui lifepad locally for R899-R1000.

This is supposedly the official site. From what I hear, the cheaper ones are student subsidised by the indian government, so we're not going to be seeing those prices here any time soon
