If they clear all outstanding speeding fines then they have my blessing ;)

“Every effort will be made along with the service service provider, Dashima, to ensure this doesn’t happen [in future],” Ismail said.

Was it the AARTO or eNATIS site that got hacked soon after it went live? (my memory is a bit fuzzy)

The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) has told MyBroadband that no sensitive data was compromised

What exactly does the RTMC consider to be sensitive data?

For example, are peoples names and ID numbers considered to be "sensitive data", or only which bridges the traffic trolls are currently hiding under with their cameras, considered to be "sensitive data"?

The fact is this: if the data was stored in databases on the same server that was hacked, the hackers had access to it (and they claimed it was downloaded).

How can you believe them when they are so incompetent in getting hacked... i.e. how the hell will they know... :p
