We have now made the ability for users to disable the dynamic timeout system available.

Users are able to set this up within their client service area, under the standard management system for their ADSL accounts - I highly recommend one read the notice indicated there prior to disabling the service to ensure you understand what disabling it entails.

Thanks Richard for giving your customers this option. Other ISP's should look at WebAfrica as a prime example of how things should be done and the high level of customer service your company provide.

Cant wait for you guys to match other ISP's offerings ie high bandwidth packages. I am looking foward to see what will happen in the future.

:(
Post more detail for the non WA users, at least we will know what we are missing :D

Why aren't TelkomInternet doing such frequent disconnects?

wait if you disable the disconnects how the heck are you gonna see how much you use ? then again you gonna have to pretty sure how much you are using. In a way its good, though you probably want to disconnect and check usage now and then. Wait i thought the max session was 24hrs.

Is WA able to offer this client area due to a l33t programmer whipping up custom systems? :)

I hav a feeling this just deals with the dynamic system that decreases timeout time according to how much of your cap u hav used.. doubt timeouts are wiped out all together.. just a guess tho

This is merely a removal of the dynamic timeout system which is based on how much usage you have remaining. There is still a maximum limitation of 24 hours imposed irrespective of your usage.
