Hey there.
I have telkom ADSL but due to where i am located i am quite far away from the exchange. I am getting about a 69 noise signal on my line so its even a surpize i have a connection. But my line keeps dropping and i am getting to my last.
Any suggestions on alternative solutions.
I use my connection for gaming and a few downloads.

From what I've heard, despite being wireless, the Cell C data network is good. Low latencies and good speeds.

you need go wireless, or let them move you to another exchange

The Cell C data bundles are very good alternatives, but it will not give you the same kind of latencies required to play first person shooters online.
You might be able to play RTS games with it though.

Other than Cell C, you can try and ask Telkom to move you to a DSLAM closer by OR see if they can offer you WiMax.
