Above average intelligence

Wearing a Power Balance bracelet automatically drops your IQ by 25 points... and a further 10 points for each Croc.
 
Tested pretty high on [-]IQ[/-] monkey puzzle tests. Problem is I've discovered intelligence is seriously overrated. It suffers from diminishing returns and even worse in most scenarios it behaves more like a tipping point. e.g. You need say 120 pts to get into university (less in SA), but once you're in it doesn't really correlate with success anymore. Other factors (e.g. hard work, organization, social skills etc) account for pretty much all of it.

Other problem with monkey puzzle tests is that they don't measure your ability to think on your feet. As in <3sec reasoning ability. Some people really excel there (not me :o) and its worth a lot in real life.

So someone wearing one Croc is smarter than someone wearing two? Does it matter if he's wearing something on his other foot? I know my first thoughts about people wearing power balance bracelets is "gullible idiot".

Edit: Did those "world IQ" people just copy the wiki article on South Africa verbatim? They could at least credit their sources.

Correct. A retard wearing one croc has already had one foot/leg amputated in some Darwinian way, leaving them with more IQ/Mass. Work it out.

Being above average of a borderline retard is nothing to be proud about. While the contents of their posts are questionable, we must commend them for being able to use a computer in the first place :D

IQ is supposed to only measure potential for intelligence, not intelligence itself.
There is however a correlation between IQ test scores and education/knowledge. But that correlation is only estimated to be around 5-8%

Huh? I'm pretty sure *all* proper IQ tests impose a time limit. My point is the time per question is like 30sec or something, which too long to measure "think on your feet".

e.g. If person A can provide a 75% answer in 3 seconds and person B can provide a 99% answer in 30 seconds then A will have the advantage in the real world but B will score higher on an IQ test.

Potential for intelligence? Clearly the IQ score is only a representation/proxy of intelligence, but why do you say potential?
