Hi All,
Noticed some issues with 3D Secure this afternoon around 18:00, whilst busy doing online shopping with my ABSA cards. Contacted the vendor and they advised that the Bank declined the transactions on both my cards, with no error note. I immediately went to check the accounts, and it showed that all is well. So, I contacted ABSA enquiries, whom informed me that 3D secure was "blocked". They then transferred me to the 3D Secure Department, and the Agent advised that they are having issues with 3D Secure not verifying transactions (Once card details are entered, the transaction is automatically rejected, instead of going through to the verification page.), and they are busy collecting as much evidence as possible for further investigation.
They are aware of the issue, but have no explanation yet on why this is occurring. They have been advised to perform an UPDATE on each card, and within 30 minutes, the Profile will be fixed and ready to go.
I'm not sure if all users are affected, or only some user.
