Absa and PayPal??

Hi there ,anybody with absa and PayPal that can please help me.my online FNB account is having problems and I can't go to an fnb merchant because it's too far where I am and costly right now due to lockdown.so anyone who I can send my PayPal who will be able to transfer to my bank(absa) ASAP.thanks in advance

You can do it all online. Registry on fnb paypal with your abss account as beneficiary.
 
FNB is so easy, just call them to set it up if you struggling

I have it setup with standard bank and paypal. If you don't come right in the meantime and you don't mind the wait from standard bank to ABSA I can help you out. PM your ABSA banking details and I will give you my paypal ID

From PayPal - how to link Absa, Standard Bank etc.

I know how important it is for you to withdraw your funds. Let me clarify how PayPal works in South Africa.

The only way you can link your Standard bank to your Paypal account is done through the FNB Online Banking site and not on your PayPal account.

There's no need to open an account with FNB if you don't have one, you only need to create an FNB profile online.

Here's how:

  1. Go to www.fnb.ca.za and click Register.
  2. Click Register for PayPal under "PayPal for non-FNB customers."
  3. Select For Me or For My Business.
  4. Click I do not bank with FNB.
  5. Fill out the form and click Submit.
After creating your FNB online banking profile, please fax the required KYC or FICA documentation (a certified or verified copy of the Partnership, Incorporation or of the Sole Proprietorship; a certified copy of bank account statement) and a valid proof of address by faxing the documents to 011-438 8222. Alternatively, you can email the documents to [email protected]. The type of documents required will depend on your type of business. To see the complete list of KYC or FICA requirements, go to www.fnb.co.za or contact FNB’s customer service at 27 113775201.The review will take 2 -3 business days to complete.

Once the review is complete, link your bank account and your verified PayPal account to your FNB online banking profile.

After your accounts are linked, here's how to withdraw money:

  1. Log in to your FNB account at www.fnb.co.za.
  2. Click PayPal Services, then click Withdraw from PayPal.
  3. Enter the withdrawal amount in US Dollars. (Please make sure you have enough money in your PayPal balance to complete this withdrawal.)
  4. Follow the instructions to confirm the exchange rate, the Rand amount you will receive, and the transaction terms and conditions.
  5. You’ll be taken back to the PayPal website to login and review the amount you are transferring to your bank account.
  6. After completing this, you’ll be returned to the FNB site.
Your money will be transferred to your FNB bank account in 3 to 5 business days.

Please note that FNB requires you to have a verified PayPal account to link your account to FNB.

It is easy to get your PayPal account verified, you simply need to confirm you MasterCard on your PayPal account. To make it easy for you to confirm your card, please click this link: http://www.paypal.com/mem-number

Please call FNB with PayPal Services at 0875-729-725 and press option 1 for further assistance to help you link your PayPal to FNB and withdraw your funds.
