I don't think people are revealing any secret or internal or proprietary info. Being beyond paranoid about security is what you'd expect from any bank. Every possible precaution to prevent compromise must be taken. And is.

For 2012, Absa plan to let customers “give something back” by making quick donations to a selection of charitable organisations.

That worries me. I feel flooded with charity requests and I am now almost completely turned off by these requests.... I would appreciate an opt out function in order to NEVER be bugged by these requests. I am not a scrooge but it is being taken too far.
