ABSA Business Integrator

My wife has to use ABSA's Business Integrator (BI) to process debit orders for a Not For Profit Company.

She recently got a new Dell running Windows 10, and was told by ABSA that BI would not run on Win10 and that she would have to run Win XP for BI to run properly.

She is now using her old PC running XP for the BI run, but is having problems with Internet Explorer, which BI requires.

Has anyone any experience with BI or any similar problems.

And, I know, ABSA is a four letter word!

Hi, we are in the process of reloading a Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 8 for the same reason. Apparently if you install it on a old version and update it it works fine but you cant install straight on to Windows 10 or so the ABSA guy says... I also find it strange. Can one get the installation files somewhere to play with it?

As far as I am aware you can only get it installed by arranging with ABSA, and paying.

They appear to have Bytes Technology do the installation.

Last time my wife spoke to support they said just downgrade your computer!

My solution would be "Change Your Bank".

But all the debit orders would have to be revised which is a major problem.
