Im getting so f*cked off with telkom.
After the lack of bandwidth reports last week i arrived home to find out that my Bandwidth limit had been reached and exceeded. I had been away for a week, so my DSL account should have had little or no activity at all.
I attempted to login to the telkom online tracker, acess was denied, i then called the "Tech support" desk: my user password had been changed(?) so i changed the password to a new one.
I reset my router and logged into the tracker a few minutes later, and not to my surprise (its not the first time) my bandwidth was sitting at 4.7GB total (Dec 20th). Again I ranted and raved at the "Tech support" person about how someone else obtained my user name and password and proceeded not only to use up my bandwidth but exceed it by 1.7GB in a single day.
Thier answer was that someone was obviously using my account illegally, they then pointed out that it was a possiblility that I had given my user name and password to someone to use or that someone hijacked my account. WTF!
This clever person, whom i thinks is on the inside; managed to upload/ download 4GB in a single day.....
This morning i recieved the Bandwidth report and i was stunned, from my understanding us users are allocated 3GB to use for a +-30day period, this mornings report stated that the accounts bandwidth limit was sitting at 6.5GB!!
Here`s a copy of my BW report:

> Combined Total: 6.58GB
Like i said this isnt the first time this has happened, everymonth for the last 3months, someone has hacked into my account and given me one up the ass.
I wanna know what telkom is doing about this, its costing me money and my security is at stake, i mean surly if someone can obtain your user name/ password from telkom, it must be just as easy as obtaining your phone number/ ID number/ bank details from them. Are they corrupt or is there system currupt?
Does anyone have any contacts were i can pursue this matter further? Sending an email to [email protected] just doesnt do it for me.
