I would also like to know more about Zoom and Accelerit since the pricing and especially lack of any clawbacks is good.hi, any recommendation using accelerit isp with zoom fibre.
Are you a customer and if so, please could you review them as the feedback on hellopeter is very negative.lol yes
NO other ISP and FNO can EVER be worse than Rain...well that is what you get for overselling a 4G and 5G uncapped service for cheap and doing no network expansion and maintenance. Pretty soon you will have bottlenecks and slow speed and furious frustrated customers. Are you a customer and if so, please could you review them as the feedback on hellopeter is very negative.
Although I did contact them and they were generally responsive and helpful so I placed a pre-order with 2 months free to test the waters.
I cannot be worse than Rain.

Thank you for responding with mostly positive feedback.Yes I am a customer.
They provide better service than I was previously getting with Telkom ADSL.
There are outages with the finger being pointed at Zoom most of the time.
The outages are usually not more than a few hours.
Speeds are close to what they are meant to be.
I usually deal with these issues via an Accelerit guy whose number I got during the installation process.
It is not perfect but Zoom is all I have in my area, there are 3 ISPs but I started with Accelerit and have not tried the others.
Depends whether Zoom or Accelerit provide your device. I have a Huawei router from Zoom. I have to check the model number.Thank you for responding with mostly positive feedback.
Yes, Zoom is relatively new and I am expecting teething problems.
I have read that Accelerit provide only a CPE device and no router.
What make and model is the device and how is the range on it?
Good to know. Hopefully I get the same. I read on their facebook page range is 1-3m and was disappointed.Depends whether Zoom or Accelerit provide your device. I have a Huawei router from Zoom. I have to check the model number.
Both Zoom and Accelerit provided people I know with a router, maybe that has changed.
Range is good, covers my whole house comfortably.
I am glad to hear positive feedback about Zoom and yes Cool ideas will probably be my go to if Accelerit fails me.I was recommended cool ideas when I first heard zoom was coming to my area, I went against that advice and went with a cheaper unknown isp which was a horrible decision, ANO, steer clear of them. They fail on every front as an Isp.
Been with cool ideas on zoom 1000/500 for the past two months, it does exactly what it says on the tin, in fact I get 535Mbit upload. Their support is also top notch. The only 'bad' thing is they cost slightly more then all the other providers, while that sucks the service is worry free.
I have been on the same combo for almost a month and experienced the exact same issues. Its been 2 month now accelerit & zoom fibre, so far so good , had problem with low speed between 6 and 11, when i complained and send multiple speed test and ping results, they sorted it out. so far only one outage for about 4 hours when they was upgrading there system and notify me with email.
