Hi guys

I just received the following message when trying to retrieve some information:

“Thank you for your interest in Eric Weisstein's World of Mathematics. Unfortunately, your client, subnet, proxy, or cache server has been identified as source of an excessive number of hits which appear to have originated from a robot or spider.”

The website address is: http://mathworld.wolfram.com/

Can you guys access this site?

Regards,

yep no problem getting in mmm.. robot spider? wonder if it's to blame for the web :P ok That was corny in such a wrong way :)

Access Denied to IP Address 198.54.202.2 which is ctb-cache1-vif1.saix.net.

That's just stupid.

get the same response as Andre. I think telkom should rethink their implementation of their proxy.

http://www.ispmap.org.za/topmap.html reckons there are over 25 ISP's using SAIX... and i'm on @lantic and get the same message as you guys which prolly means all 25+ other ISP's as well??

Nice going telkom [?]

Check this page -
http://www.ipstat.com/cgi-bin/stats?name=ppecb#bb6
round the middle of the page is the SAIX server listed right on top with the most hits, more than any other country..

Their proxy's a touch overactive, now we know where all our freakin int'l bandwidth is going [}:)]
