I had the exact same problem this afternoon - I got the "Authorisation denied" message everytime I tried to connect to the access point on my Nokia N95.
The problem seems to have sorted itself out though. I'm assuming its either related to some of the base stations (I'm in Pta-Hatfield area) or the old issue of contract subscribers being given access above prepaid/topup subscribers. I can't tell you how many times I have struggled with Vodacom on various issues, specifically because Topup is regarded in the same vein as Prepaid. I have paid for my data bundle, why should contract subscribers be given preference? (See thread " Problems: Slow Throughput, trying to Connect, DNS, High Latency")
