Accessing Cell C services problematic for ported subscriber

Vodacom is flying.
Friend of mine has ported to Vodacom and you cannot use some of the services available on vodacom4me.
20Free smses a day and they are still checking numbers based on whether they are 082/072/076... So even though he is on the vodacom network, im unable to sms him...
I logged a complaint and received a voice message saying that they would add it to customer feedback or something like that(too early in morning still)
