Accessing German channels on DSTV

I've noticed that channel the following channels are available but not accessible on the DSTV premium package:

440 - RTL
441 - SAT1
442 - ARD
443 - ZDF
444 - PRO7
445 - 3SAT

Does anybody know if there is a way to access these channels, enable it on your SIM card - the DSTV contact centre has never heard of these channels but I have watched most of them when I was over in Germany a few years ago. They are quite good and it would be fantastic if they were accessible.

Just had a look and they're nuts! If these are FTA channels can they be pick up from other satellites locally for free?

Something i have noticed.
When the channels 'open' and compact subscribers get all the channels, i have seen the unlocked German channels in action.

Censorship isn't very big in Germany.
