Hi,

I want to take the wife and toddler for a week to Clarens over Easter.

Could you recommend a place to stay (thats baby friendly), either Self Catering or Lodge, or Hotel. We want comfort and quiet, and know we wont disturb anyone if the baby starts crying.

Activities need to be baby friendly as well, so trout fishing, maybe a hike, good eating and drinking (Will visit the Clarens Brewery).

Can you recommend a place to stay, and stuff to do?

Thanks! :D

We spent a week at Kiara lodge in Clarens in December. Had a nice relaxing time fishing (bass) and going for walks. The lodge was quiet, well-tended and had things to do (putt-putt, pool, trampolines, tennis). There's also a restaurant. If I went back to Clarens I would stay there again.

Thanks Cruelty, what other fun stuff is there to do in the town and surrounds?

Thanks Elfreako.

I have mailed all your suggestions to check availability...always wanted to visit Clarens.

The Golden Gate nature reserve is quite nice cant remember if they have guided walks or anything there

I would recommend www.rebellie.co.za Was there this past weekend. Self catering. Stayed at The Lodge. There are 5 houses on the game farm. Wildlife. Hiking. Biking. etc. You need to get in touch with Nic. His contact details are available on the website.
