I have a AOD250. Is it possible to install a 3G module. I know the AOD250 is also available in a 3G version with a builtin modem, so I was wondering if its possible to buy a internal modem and install it in my netbook.

mh348. Any news on this topic. I see the d250 has a pci-e mini slot and Option does a few 3g cards in this format, but Im still looking to find someone who has tested it.

If you do some Googling, you can see some 'chick' doing a 'Mcguyver' and doing it, I wouldn't do that myself, but it is possible "that route"

You need to solder the 3g sim holder and a minipci connector thingy onto the motherboard. This means you have to find someone with the correct tools & knowledge to do surface soldering on a motherboard.
Google for more info...
