Acer confirms US$99 tablet PC

Taiwan computer maker Acer said that it would offer a new mini-tablet for as little as 99 US dollars in several emerging markets, undercutting competitors

I wonder if we'll ever see that $99 price tag in SA. Somehow I'm doubting it.

From the article, verified in Google, Acer's net income in the third quarter of 2012 was 2.3 million US dollars.

Seriously? Is that all? For such a large company. I can't believe it to be honest.
