Nice write-up rpm. Also great to see how you included the electricity infrastructure issues African countries suffer from and the impact that has on telecoms - even Nigeria has serious power issues.
 
The conversion in that picture is wrong, 1 Megabit is 128 kiloBytes, not 0.128. Just saying...

Hope south Africa can move up the rankings soon :/
 
It’s hard not to be excited by the news that Angola (and its usually rather ponderous incumbent Angola Telecom) have completed 10,000 kms of national fibre backbone that connects every province in the country.

ICASA etc needs to step up their game to get us number like our politicians think we are! I get the feeling that the other African countries does not think we are number one! These stats prove me right!
