Achieving a perfect score (7.9) with Windows Experience Index

My score 5.9, made up as follows:

cpu - 7.1
ram - 7.1
graphics - 6.7
hdd - 5.9 (60gig partion of 250gig 16mb cache)
 
WEI scores:
CPU - i7 940 (ES): 7.5 @ 3.06GHz (stock) / 7.6 @ 3.84GHz (OC)
RAM - 6GB DDR3 1600MHz: 7.8 @ 1066MHz 6-6-6-16 (stock) & 7.8 @ 1336MHz 7-7-7-20 (OC)
GFX - 2x GTX 460 768MB: 7.4 *
HDD - 1.5TB (primary) + 120GB: 5.9

* I'm not sure if the GFX score was with only 1x GTX 460, and I can't test it again since I've returned the graphics cards to the supplier due to a noisy fan.
Now I'm scoring 4.3 with my brother's 7600GS

I get 7.5 for everything but hard drives which are 5.9.
Q9550 @ 3.8, 8GB corsair dominators 1066, 4890 with some oc I cant remember, raid0 500GB sata drives.
Im still wondering what difference SSD will make to that.

I wonder what it'll do if you install Win7 on a RAM drive if you have like 24GB of RAM :p

Kinda strange results i think, seems my cpu and my SSD is holding me back? lol
Would have thought the ram coz its running in 1333

my hdd is the only think holding me back. I'm getting a 7.4 on all my hardware except a 5.9 on my hdd
 
I now got myself a G.Skill Phoenix 120GB SSD and replaced my 100GB laptop HDD with it tonight.
The HDD score increased from like 4.5 to 6.9. I reckon that it would score 7.9 if I place it in my Core i7 desktop, because currently my 2GHz dual core CPU is definitely slowing it down.
 
I don't know what you need to get 7.9?

My lowest score is 7.4 which are my ssd's running in a raid 0. (Samsung 256GB)
7.8 on my cpu i7 980x running stock.

I've got a feeling you need a really beefy graphics card to start seeing high numbers.

My Geforce 240 GT gives me 5.4 for Aero and 6.4 for 3D graphics and gaming.

Overclocked my AMD 4650 last night with RivaTuner, full Fan speed selected and this is my new rating (My CPU is clocked to 2.32GHz running stock cooling).

5.5 * Determined by lowest subscore

I doubt it would reach 7.9, that is normally reserved for larger volume SSD's in raid0. The phoenix is quick though.
