Acrobat XI

The last time I bought Acrobat software, was version 8. I used a 30 day trial version of XI and it can perform functions that I definitely need, such as text recognition from scanned documents and conversion of PDF into PPT, to name but a few.

Is XI indeed the lastest and best version to purchase? I am planning to do so online.

It doesnt matter what version you purchase because it will update to the latest version anyway.

But yes, Acrobat pro XI (11.0.09) is the latest.

I have XI and its the free version or are you talking about XI Pro trial?


PS: Im pretty sure you can update from 9 to 11.

Yes, I used XI Pro trial. So should I buy that or is there some version I can download for free that can assist with my needs ( text recognition from scanned documents and conversion of PDF into PPT) ?
