Isn't the Acronis True Imagine Software around $49,99? But I assume that I something totally different? Any deals for an individual user?

Its an enterprise product. I have the TrueImage and Disk Director bundle and it works
ok, although TrueImage restore suffered with the proprietary format of my
Panasonic laptop. The support finally emailed me a separate boot disk image.

Acronis True Image Home is $49.99 - it's a different product.

Acronis True Image Echo Workstation is a business-class product with a wider range of functions, including Backup Server, Group Server, Management Console. It also supports Acronis Universal Restore (which is not available for the Home version). Maintenance & Support option is also available but not for the Home version.

Two things tho:

1) I assume that you guys will be mailing the installation disc/discs to me when payment has been confirmed? I don't have to download the program myself?

2) What can we use to work out rand/dollar rate? Will this site be all right?

Me gots my answers via PM. For some reason the Synapsys guys can't post in here. So for those interested:

1) Delivery is ESD (electronic software download) only - no physical product is shipped. You get Acronis License Certificate with download link and activation key.

2) No - that site erroneously uses Rand Buy Rate, whereas one should use the _Rand Sell Rate_ (ie convert Rand to US$). Your bank website has the current rate - make sure you check Rand *Sell* Rate. As I type this the banks are quoting 7.5078 Rand to the US dollar. Check the FNB site here: https://www.fnb.co.za/sekunjalo_rates/forexM.asp

Also the program is only 310MB big. So not too bad.

1) You get Acronis License Certificate(s) with download link(s) and activation key(s) sent by email - no physical product is shipped. Product delivery is by ESD (electronic software download). Download is approx 310MB. You can buy extra DSL bandwidth at R64 per gig, so the download will cost you about R20.

2) That currency website you reference does not use the correct Rand Sell rates. Rather check for the Rand Sell Rate on your local bank's website. FNB have the ruling commercial mid-rates here.
