Activating e-sim on iPhone

Go to the mtn store and ask them to sim swap your number to esim. You are going to have to help them though.

I wish there store around nelspruit can assist me, I’ve went to three stores around here and no one has any information, all the stores. Which store have you visited, I’ll be in Gauteng soon, maybe I’ll get it sorted there?

That monthly charge only applies to eSims for wearables AFAIK, ie, where you have two sims linked to one number (watch + phone). My data eSim on my phone has no additional charge, but the one for my watch linked to my primary number does.

I did mine at MTN Sunninghill(chilli lane centre , But the staff there didnt know how to do it either, i had to show them how to do it on their PC following @Pho3nix advice. I did it a long time ago though, i think march of last year.

Activate? You need to request a sim swap in-store. They send you a code afterwards

In my tiredness coming from PE leaving there at 04:00, I passed by MTN-Mall of Africa to get the sim swop done. 15min was way too much. Thanks for advice, I have now two active lines on my phone
