active yeast - where in rsa? [Baking]

You might be making your own yeast for brewing or you might be making your own yeast for baking.

You eventually got around to mentioning baking so that cleared that one up - thanks. Hope the spar has what you need
But brewers yeast is brewers yeast; any case I'm yet to start with that project. So my bad, I was thinking of baking terms.

edit
Sorry for being an ******. I'll be clear about it next time, I did add a note thought seeing I can't fixup the title with (baking)

I am, but have you done it from scratch in the winter? I'm just about to pop it into the incubation chamber I use for my bread...
Personally no, I only use yeast for homebrewing.
The starter my father in law uses was started by my brother in law about 8 years ago and both just keep it going.
I get bread from them so I dont need to make my own :)

Yeah, that way you don't have to create or maintain, I'm just tweaking the experiment as it goes along while I bake the other things.

Actually the oven incubation trick finally made the starter sourdough starter start. I guess it is a bit cold to start from scratch; I might go and get a thermal sock for it. ahaha.

So this was about 10 days in of starter cultivation. The only things I changed was a warmer place for at least 12 hours, organic coconut water and mixing in three flours instead of just one per feeding.
