I don't buy magazines because they're 80% adverts.

I think the bigger initiative that is coming is the advent of direct and effective specific target marketing, and this is what he's actually trying to push without saying so.

Imagine SLASHING the marketing budgets of these huge companies. Whoop.

/me wonders how PVR is going to force you to watch an advert.

The Livery Companies of the City of London were originally set up as guilds, and almost all of them are "The Worshipful Company of..."

For example, most geeks in the City would belong to The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (I kid you not).

The Livery Companies sit on the body that elects the Lord Mayor of the City Of London
