Hi

When I joined iBurst, i sourced a used modem that worked, but had been seriously abused. Up until now this hadn't been an issue, but on Monday I suddenly had no connection due to no signal, which turned out to be a result of a really dodgy soldering job on the cable connecting the modem to my external antenna.

I've temporarily fixed the problem, but I think its best for me to replace this cable with a professionally made one. I found this on Poynting's site, it looks like what I need, can somebody confirm this?

Yip that's the right cable. The older pigtail cables used to be crappy, and could break easily with lots of connecting / disconnecting. The new one's come with that grey plastic piece, which allows you to disconnect the cable without damaging anything.

I hope that "soldering job" didn't solder the pigtail to the modem, and was just a job to fix the cable itself...

Nah its just like midway on the cable that it was soldered, the rest of it is ok...
