Additional sections/services from MyADSL

Thanks for the feedback and comments so far. A few additional services have been mentioned, but how about:

An own IRC channel
More or less prizes/competitions
Branded gear
Newsletter

Something else?

I've mentioned this before in a different thread but would it be a conflict of interest if MyADSL offered branded VISP services on a not-for-profit basis?

About the titles/"forum cred" - I have little & tending towards zero opinion, i.e. it makes no difference to me - the only time I'm aware of those titles, is when someone says "I'm a MyADSL Master now" - other than that my mind just ignores the titles altogether, but I can see how they might be important to everyone else .

Although I'm only a few posts away from the title MyADSL Master I'm dont consider myself a master of anything so dont worry about that. I dont like any automated ranking system that grants status just for voluminous postings.

Like I've told Noone several times, I personally don't attach any value to my own post count, likewise I also don't attach any meaning to the post count of other forumites, except when the post count is near zero, then I usually welcome a forumite that's just registered .

About Peapod's idea of having some info displayed about each forumite, there are vBulletin member profile fields that can optionally be filled in:

Perhaps there is a way of getting vBulletin to display the contents of the "Interests" field without having to view each forumites profile...
