Client shared an Acrobat file with Markups . When opening the link in browser the markups showed for a split seconds and then disappears as soon as the comments bar finished loading. I also tried the Desktop App and I tried the Old Desktop App. I checked all settings. Restarting the PC and new install of Acrobat have markups not showing at all, not even split second. I googled a solution and none worked. AI not helping. I do not have a paid account , but this never has been an issue. Only the original PDF shows but none of the comments and markups.

Unfortunately I can't share an example.

Is there a permissions is on Client side?

Please assist this is urgent.

The Client is using an Apple Computer.

I am using..... 😭 ..... a Windows Computer.

Should make no difference as long as they did it in Adobe and not in Preview.

Not sure if Adobe maybe syncs this to cloud, maybe you need to be signed into your Adobe account or some stupid **** like that.

You are welcome to DM me the file and I can see if it shows up on my Mac in either Preview or Adobe.

I can't DM file it is under an NDA. I do have an adobe account and signed in.

I wonder if the client maybe did the Markup in Preview (standard Mac app) and now it's not "translating" to Adobe.

Or do you know for a fact they did it with Acrobat?

They did it with Adobe as they shared directly from Adobe. The markups do show for a split second when opening the file in browser adobe and then disappears.

Hmm tested anyway and even markups done with Preview do show up in Adobe so it's not that, but then I'm doing it all on Mac.

I think it is a Mac > Windows issue. Also looks like Markups were done on an iPad with a pen, manage to take a screenshot of the first page that showed for a split second.

My lord I very quickly remembered why I never use this Adobe kak, can't even figure out how you would share the file to see if there are any options that could affect this.

Yeah I quickly checked the price. They are nuts in their heads.

We make use of Drawboard PDF for work. Works amazing and if there are issues the drawboard team quickly resolves it with their developers.
